The California Roadster® is
the first proportionally correct Custom Electric Vehicle. Styled after one of
the most popular customized cars on the road today. It includes standard
features such as chrome alloy wheels, a color-matched dash, chrome mirrors, and
a chrome and leatherette steering wheel attached to a hot rod inspired polished
aluminum steering column. Everything has been done to enhance the style and
look of the car from the chrome grillwork to the chrome trim around the
taillights. The California Roadster® is by far the highest quality, most
affordable Custom Electric Vehicle available today.
Unmatched Engineering...
The quality of the California
Roadster® begins in the engineering of the car from the ground up. The
California Roadster® is built using completely new parts. The frames are
made from rugged and durable steel c-channel, which is powder coated to prevent
corrosion. The California Roadster® uses a long lasting 48-volt system to
ensure maximum range. The hi-output 11 peak horsepower motor is powerful enough
to move you and your passengers at speeds up to 25 miles per hour and yet it is
efficient enough to deliver a 70-mile range per charge, which is more than
double the industry average. The car also features an on-board 12-volt
converter that gives you an in-dash power source to power your cell phone or
laptop computer. For added safety, the California Roadster® has been
outfitted with standard headlights, brake lights, turn signal lights, horn and
also a standard 4 wheel braking system. With all of the standard features that
have been engineered into the California Roadster®, American Custom Golf
Cars, Inc. has reset the bar in the Custom Electric Vehicle industry to a level
that has never before been seen and that other companies can only hope to come
close to.
Built-in Safety Features
The California Roadster® was
designed with standard safety features that most other Electric Vehicles don't
offer. It is equipped with working headlights, break lights, turn signal
lights, and running lights. It is also equipped with an extra loud horn to make
your presence heard when you need to. To get around traffic the car comes
standard with rear view mirrors to help you make turns and lane changes safely.
And to ensure safe stopping distance, it is also equipped with a standard 4
wheel braking system.
Fine Standard Appointments...
The California Roadster® was built to
include standard features that are not available in other comparably priced
Electric Vehicles on the market. Included in the standard model are an
ultra-soft Marine Grade Vinyl, convenient in-dash cup holders, two locking glove
boxes, and an extra large locking storage area under the front hood. Polished
chrome mirrors, chrome alloy wheels and a chrome finished grill. For your
convenience there is an easy to read battery charge indicator that has been
molded into the dash to replicate an early style gauge cluster. For expanded
capability, the golf bag attachment receiver doubles as a small trailer hitch
receiver. The California Roadster® also includes standard 4-wheel braking
for added safety and stopping capability.
Options to Enhance your Driving Experience...
The California Roadster® is available with
multitude of options to increase your driving comfort and pleasure. It is
available as a NEV Certified, licensable vehicle allowing it to be driven on
city streets with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less. It also has available
leather interior upgrades, hidden Am/Fm CD players, a hard or soft top to
protect you from the sun. The car is also available with customized paint and
graphic schemes to promote your company or just that personal touch to your car.
